Experience Alaska - close-up to nature and reasonably priced 
 
At the adge of wilderness and surrounded by ancient Sitka firs and nature pure, Silver Budda Lodge'is situated directly at the Kenai river 17 miles outside of Soldotna. Featuring 180 feet of privat riverbank excellent for bank fishing (red-and silversalmon) there are also various small and mediumsized lakes suitable for fishing in the area. In 1 1/2 hrs drive you can reach the famous fishing grounds of the Kasilof, Moose, Ninilchik, Russian ans Swanson rivers.   
 
We offer our guests various exclusive guided tours: Kinai River Rafting and Fishing  or ocean fishing for Halibut. In a sea-plane we'll you to a remotee place for bear watching and fishing in complete wilderness. The seaport of Seward is starting point for various excursions marine nature on sea be it for the observation of glaciers or for whale watching. We'll also be happy to book horse-back riding or golf for you. Or why don't you just relax in the lodge's brand-new sauna or whirlpool?
 
We offer 2 kinds of accommodation:
 
1. Five modern selfcontained cabins, two for 4 persons with 2 double bedrooms, two for 3 person and one Cabin with a double and three bedroom for 5 persons, all room with single bed, bathroom with shower and fully equipped kitchen.

2. Ten double bedrooms for 2 vacationers with private bathroom as well as two studios for 3-4 persons featuring separate entrace, 2 double bedrooms, private bathroom an small sitting area with table and chairs. Full Board.
 
The salmon run to the following schedule:
 

King May - end July
Sockeye (red) June - mid August
Silver mid July          - ende September
Pink mid July  - September

  

For  a chance you can try you luck at catching trout and dolly varden on the Kenai Peninsula.
